Chapter 3: Alignment

• Read chapter 3 on Alignment (pages 31 to 48) and take detailed notes
• In your notes, be sure to include the following points
  • A detailed definition of Alignment (Consider including examples)
  • Evidence that you looked at and analyzed the various examples
  • In particular, look at the alignment examples on pages 44 and 45, and find at least 9 ways that alignment was altered to create a more effective design. (See hints at top of page). Try not to cheat.

• In addition, you are to find a favourite website on the Internet and discuss how the designers used CRAP to organize the site and make the site appear more professional and inviting to most viewers. (Screen shots using GRAB would be helpful here). Although you should discuss all the components of CRAP, the discussion should be focused on alignment.
